So we are checked in on Condor Flights at Providence Airport. Mum and Aunty Judy took us out to lunch, drove all the way with us to Rhode Island, and dropped us off in grand style.

We wrapped up the bikes while standing in line. We were so well practiced... We're like pro bike wrappers. We practiced last night. Then we had to wait a while until someone would take the bikes from us. We don't leave our bikes unattended... Ever... One attendant ended up carrying Tonka (Andrea's bike) to the plane and Traktor (Bruce's bike) overwhelmed the very little attendant who tried to wheel him away... Always an adventure with us! We REALLY hope they get to Frankfurt okay!!!

We will start boarding soon and then 7 hours to Gemany.

The car is packed! The bikes are on top! It's time to go!

The World is Ours!

We are packed and ready to go! Both bikes have their pedals removed. We made sure they fit in the bike bags. We pared down our stuff and are carrying a bit less than 90lbs total between us. This does include two foldable chairs and a ukulele, so we aren't hurting for the essentials. We want to enjoy and relax as well as travel, pedal, and see Europe at about 10mph. The night before a trip is always stressful and exciting! Tonight is no different. This is the first time we are bagging our bikes rather than packing them up in cardboard boxes. Hoping they get to Frankfurt in top shape. We leave from Providence airport TOMORROW!!!Monday June 29, at 6pm. Mum and Aunty Judy are driving us down to the airport. Thank you!!!

We will miss our friends and our kitties but we will be home at the end of August with new adventures and stories to tell. Wish us luck!
